Golden Falcon Acquisition Corp. (the “
Company ”) announced today that it priced its initial public offering of 30,000,000 units, upsized from 25,000,000 units, at $10.00 per unit. The units will be listed on the New York Stock Exchange (“
NYSE ”) and will begin trading tomorrow, Friday, December 18, 2020 under the ticker symbol
“GFX.U ”. Each unit consists of one share of the Company’s Class A common stock and one-half of one redeemable warrant, each whole warrant entitling the holder thereof to purchase one share of Class A common stock at a price of $11.50 per share. (Bloomberg) Makram Azar, a former senior banker at Barclays Plc, and dealmaker Scott Freidheim raised $300 million after boosting the size of their blank-check company’s U.S. initial public offering.
Golden Falcon Acquisition Corp. sold 30 million units at $10 apiece in the oversubscribed deal, it said in an emailed statement dated Thursday. The special purpose acquisition company was initially offering 25 million units at that price.
