To the 9/11 attacks. at first this seemed like a terrible idea. when you look at what the writer of the onion did it was brilliant. they were able to find some sort of common ground as oppose to making lite of something terrible. it s a beautiful statement about the human species and eventually we ll make a joke about everything, because it means we have defined depression and lost and death to live. and time will give you the breath to do that. i like to test myself about joking but horrible things and nothing but. one of my favorite ways to test myself, i like to make jokes about tragedies the day that they happen. i don t believe in too soon, i m on a tight schedule. too soon oes tricky. sometimes it s too soon but not if the joke s good enough. if the joke s good enough it s ....
People are either found to be guilty or not guilty. that will be the ultimate deciding factor. and lynn, i mean he s the attorney general. you know? he s the top law enforcer and he too is kind of making lite, poking fun at the very serious judicial process. in washington there is a tradition when you go to some of these big dinners of using the humor and taking a few jabs at yourself. just think if somebody else had said that joke, it might have come off really bad or disturbing. so i think this actually humanized the attorney general. and showed that his sense humor is never bad. if he wants to folk fun at himself for talking to russians, i don t see any harm in this. i think everybody knows it s serious, if he had a moment of ....
