PETALING JAYA: Ain Husniza Saiful Nizam has been chosen to be the first recipient of a public donation drive that will see her participate in an international youth development programme.
The board members of Yayasan AFS Antarabudaya Malaysia (AFS Malaysia) chose Ain Husniza to take part in its interactive AFS Global You Changemaker program as recognition of her courage, bravery and tenacity in encouraging not only her peers but also students around Malaysia to voice out problems they face in school through her viral #makeschoolasaferplace initiative.
The 17 year old, who made headlines for calling out her teacher s rape jokes in class will join other youths aged 15 to 17 in the 12-week online education program which focuses on active global citizenship and creating social impact. ....
