PARKERS CHAPEL - In a game that lasted well into the night, Junction City saw its softball season come to an end with a 12-8 loss to Murfreesboro Thursday in the 2A South Regional Tournament.
JUNCTION CITY - Rison scored the go-ahead run in the bottom of the sixth and gunned down a runner at the plate in the top of the seventh and beat Junction City 8-7 in the semifinals of the 2A 8 District Tournament on Friday.
JUNCTION CITY - Junction City stole 23 bases and burned Fordyce 19-0 in three innings Thursday. The Lady Dragons improved to 10-9 overall and 3-3 in 2A 8 action while the Lady Redbugs fell to 0-5 in conference.

HORATIO - Junction City scored five runs in the sixth and stepped on Acorn 11-2 Saturday morning at the Horatio Jamboree. The Lady Dragons improved to 7-5 on the season.
