2 veteran CT state police troopers promoted

Lt. Col. Jack Goncalves was promoted from major and Major Daniel Loughman was promoted from lieutenant during the ceremony on March 5, 2021.
Two veteran Connecticut State Police troopers were promoted during a ceremony last week.
Lt. Col. Jack Goncalves was promoted from major and Major Daniel Loughman was promoted from lieutenant during the ceremony on March 5, officials said.
Both are longtime members of the state police force with decades of experience as patrol troopers, detectives and command staff.
Goncalves will now serve as commanding officer of the Bureau of Professional Standards, according to state police. He was most recently commanding officer of the state police’s central district headquarters. ....
