NSCDC Parades Suspected Traffickers Operating Baby Factory In Cross River

The Cross River State Command of the Nigerian Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), has paraded some suspected traffickers for allegedly operating a baby factory.
The security agency also paraded a suspect for raping a minor and another for selling banned substances.
The state’s commandant of the NSCDC, Majekodunmi Abidemi, explained that all arrests were made possible over intelligence reports from members of the communities where the crimes were perpetrated.

The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) Cross River State Command, has paraded one suspected marijuana Merchant who was caught with three bags of contraband items at Ene Edem street, Bayside Calabar, the state capital.
Parading the suspect at the command’s headquarter in Calabar, the state’s Commandant Majekodunmi Abidemi, explained that the suspect who has been on the watch list of the Corp was trailed to the Riverside of Calabar while negotiating his deals for export to Cameron and other west African states.

The commandant disclosed that the arrest was made possible by men of the Command following a sustained intelligence monitoring by officers of the corps and other reliable information obtained by members of the community where the nefarious crime is being perpetuated. ....

The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Cross River State Command, has paraded two suspected child traffickers alongside underage children in Calabar.
The suspects were heading to Ogun state, southwest Nigeria.
Speaking with Channels Television at the Defence Headquarters in Calabar, the State’s Commandant, Majekodunmi Abidemi, explained that the suspects were nabbed by the eagle-eyed officers who were looking out for them following a close trial of people, agents involved in child trafficking in Cross River State.
While the search for the master minder of the trafficking who is still at large continues, the victims would be handed over to the National Agency for the Prohibition of Trafficking in Persons for further investigations. ....

Operatives of Nigerian Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) in Cross River have arrested two suspected child traffickers with six children.
According to a statement by the NSCDC Public Relations Officer in the state, Mr Solomon Eremi on Monday in Calabar, the suspects were arrested at Mobil Junction, Calabar.
The statement said that the suspects and the six children were arrested on Jan. 8, while waiting for a vehicle to convey them to Ogun for minimal jobs.
It quoted the State Commandant, Mr Majekodunmi Abidemi, as expressing concern about the level of child trafficking in the country. ....

The Cross River State Command of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) has paraded two suspected child traffickers in Calabar.
The traffickers were heading to Ogun state with some children in their possession when they were intercepted.
Speaking with Channels television at the Defence Headquarters in Calabar, the State’s Commandant, Majekodunmi Abidemi, explained that the suspects were nabbed by officers who were on the normal business of trailing people and agents involved in child trafficking across Cross River State.
