MUSKEGON, Mich. â John Severson, United Way Board Chair & Superintendent at the MAISD came up with a challenge to help Dolly Parton s Imagination Library Program, which serves over 6,000 children.
The Dolly Parton s Imagination Library Program ensures a child receives a book in the mail monthly.
Severson was challenged by his cabinet to grow a beard for Dolly Parton s Imagination Library and convince others to make a pledge towards the cause. Soon, he, Stuart Jones, and Randy Lindquist began growing beards and have raised over $4,000 equating to 2,000 books. ....
