Maine Cheese Festival to be held in Pittsfield

PITTSFIELD The Maine Cheese Festival is to be held Sept. 12 at Manson Park.
Partnering with the Maine Office of Tourism, the Maine Cheese Guild aims to share the art of cheesemaking and spread the love of Maine cheese with their premier event.
The event is to include music, food trucks, a beer tent, and an opportunity to ‘Meet the Makers’ or to put it another way, meet some cute goats.
Beyond the fun and the tasty treats, this year’s festival will also shine a spotlight on the Mainers who are making exceptional cheese with its first Cheese Awards. ....
