Trinamool Congress leader Mahua Moitra did not appear for the Enforcement Directorate s (ED) summons on February 19 regarding a foreign exchange contravention case. The ED had summoned her to its Delhi headquarters, seeking her statement under the Foreign Exchange Management Act. Moitra is also under investigation by the Central Bureau of Investigation, based on a reference from the Lokpal.
Lawyer Jai Anant Dehadrai has been called for questioning by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) over cash-for-query charge against Trinamool Congress leader Mahua Moitra.
India News: The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has summoned lawyer Jai Dehadrai in connection with its probe against former TMC MP Mahua Moitra in a Lokpal-referred corruption complaint. Dehadrai, who was once close to Moitra, had leveled serious corruption allegations against her. The CBI has asked Dehadrai to appear before the agency to record his version.
