MANCHESTER, Conn. To celebrate Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. s life, a new mural in Manchester was completed Monday. Artist Ben Keller painted the nearly 30 foot mural on a wall at the Mahoney Recreation Center.
The portrait was actually a piece that I did in my studio and just recently finished up so I had that already designed not intending to ever paint it larger, said Keller.
The project came together in just a few days. It s led by CT Murals, a project of the non-profit The Rise Up Group, which creates public art. ....
