One person is dead and two others were hospitalized following a collision Sunday afternoon between a motor vehicle and a horse and buggy in Yates County.
The crash took place around 4:09 p.m. on state Route 364 west of Voak Road in the Town of Potter, according to the Yates County Sheriff s Office.
A vehicle operated by Robert A. Clark, 55, of Dundee, was headed westbound on Route 364 when it struck a horse and buggy traveling in the same direction from behind, the sheriff s office said.
The buggy was occupied by two people Mahlon Horning, 66, and Ada Horning, 67, both of Swamp Road in Penn Yan.
