forest officials have arrested two men for hunting a
chinkara in the Kazad-Kalas forest area of Indapur taluka. The two arrested were well equipped with a
rifle and several other sharp weapons meant for hunting.
The forest officials have identified them as Mahesh Janglu Mane (40) and Dattatray Popat Pawar (42) - both residents of Indapur village. The incident happened around 10 pm on Tuesday night in the Indapur forest jurisdiction and was uncovered when the officials suspected some abnormal activity in the forest and spotted the two accused with the help of a torch. ....
