The Lamar County Junior Livestock Show and market sale set a record of more than $375,000 for this year’s top livestock. The grand champion steer exhibited by Ethan Adams of Lamar County 4-H sold for $6,100 to Magnolia Brush Company in Clarksville.
The 54th annual Lamar County Junior Livestock show concluded Thursday night with the sale of champions that saw buyers shell out a record-breaking $375,000 for this year’s top animals.
