Cleveland Middle School Beta Club Qualifies For Nationals During Virtual Leadership Summit Thursday, December 10, 2020

National Beta members from Cleveland Middle School are celebrating their participation in the Tennessee Virtual Leadership Summit. They were announced as qualifiers in all four of the following challenges: Rapid Response, Service Snapshot, Lead Outside the Box, and Eva Lipscomb was selected as one of the three Leadership Representatives.
Seventh and eighth grade BETA Club officers and members had the option to attend the Leadership Summit virtually for their first time due to COVID. Students were broken into three challenge teams to complete in Rapid Response (engineering), Service Snapshot (community service project), and Lead Outside the Box (create a digital tool kit for parents to navigate a viral world). The students worked with faculty sponsors:
