Hamilton Police are investigating the city’s second homicide of the year after 30-year-old Simon Tommy Hoang died in hospital after he was injured in a stabbing incident on Feb. 10.

Hamilton Police are investigating the city s second homicide of the year after 30-year-old Simon Tommy Hoang died in hospital. He was injured in a stabbing incident on Feb. 10.
Jason Anthony Long, 27, and Madelene Peternel, 33, were initially charged with Hoang s attempted murder. Both remain in custody.

A 30-year-old victim was clinging to life as Hamilton cops arrested a man late Tuesday wanted on suspicion of attempted murder and robbery.
Hamilton cops said on Twitter that they arrested Jason Long, 27, in the Barton St. E.-Westinghouse Ave. area of Hamilton in relation to a Feb. 10 incident.

On Tuesday, detectives said that the 30-year-old victim remained on life support and his prognosis was dire. Now, decisions are to be made on whether medical intervention will be withdrawn.
