HAGGIS brand Macsween has launched plans to bring what it hopes will be the world’s largest virtual Burns Supper of 2021 to homes across the globe. Macsween of Edinburgh will air the event on its Facebook page at 7pm on January 25. It will feature comedy actor Karen Dunbar, whose Tam o’ Shanter is renowned throughout the world, and “the First Lady of Scotch whisky” Dr Rachel Barrie, who is master blender for Benriach distillery. Managing director James Macsween (pictured) said: “Burns Night is a special time of year that combines haggis, whisky and poetry with lots of fun and laughter. We didn’t want anyone to miss out because of the times we live in. ....
