The Ghana Standards Authority (GSA) and the Ghana Automobile Distributors Association (GADA) have held a meeting to discuss and address concerns regarding the implementation of the Automotive Vehicle Homologation and Conformity Assessment Programme.
The meeting was held on January 28, 2021, at the Standards Height at Ridge in Accra.
During the meeting, representatives of GADA appealed to the Authority to reconsider the Homologation fee, taking into consideration the negative impact the COVID-19 pandemic has had on businesses and the fact that the Ghanaian market for new vehicles is significantly small.
