Theres been an incredible spike of covid19 cases at san quinton. Tonight, in an y, i talk with multiple inmates. Her son was coughed on. Now, she has a message for the woman responsible. Developing news. The confirmed cases of coronavirus are exploding in san quinton prison. On june 14th there were 48 cases, by this past friday, the number was up to 499. And right now, there are 523 active cases among inmates. At least 73 employees at the prison have tested positive. Abc News Reporter j. R. Stone talked with multiple inmates, some who have tested positive. I want to start by saying for safety purposes we are not revealing the names of the inmates that i talked with. They have been convicted of serious crimes, yes, but are now involved with their own Health Battles as they go up against coronavirus.

Nearly 28,000 cases and 568 people have died. The governor order to close bars and seven different counties and it takes effect immediately. The counties included la, fresno, san joaquin, kings, kern, imperial, and tulare. Governor somoza recommended bars and eight other counties to close including contra costa and santa clara.
