Immaculata U. student awarded for leadership, service Lynn Krieger receives Immaculata s prestigious St. Catherine of Alexandria Medal for leadership and service to the university. (Sarah Webb) Posted February 17, 2021 Immaculata University senior Lynn Krieger of York, Pa. received the prestigious St. Catherine of Alexandria Medal for 2020-2021 during a welcome back Mass for the spring semester at Immaculata celebrated Jan. 28 by Archbishop Nelson Pérez (see a photo gallery of the visit here). Kappa Gamma Pi, a national honor society for graduates of Catholic colleges, sponsors the medal which is named after St. Catherine of Alexandria, who represents wisdom, fortitude and Christian service. The society offers the medal to a student at the conclusion of his or her junior year. The selection is made by the university faculty and/or classmates on the basis of leadership and service to the institution. ....
