Western Illinois University’s student-run broadcast news and sports media have won, and been nominated for awards from the Intercollegiate Broadcasting System (IBS) Media Conference, Mid-America NATAS Emmy Awards, and National Electronic Media Association (NBS-AERho).
Western Illinois University’s student-run, broadcast news station, NEWS3, and The Proxy Report, an online news aggregator featuring content from NEWS3 and original content by The Proxy Report student staff, won awards from the National Undergraduate Student Electronic Media Competition hosted by NBS in March.
