DENVER Family members have identified Lyndreth Sage Antone as the child killed in a New Year s Eve hit-and-run crash. The incident happened near Morrison Road and Lowell Boulevard in southwest Denver.
On Saturday, a handful of his relatives visited the memorial created at the intersection where he was killed.
Everyone knew him from all the stores around here, everybody loved him,” his Uncle William Sauer told 9NEWS. It s just really sad and terrible.
On Dec. 31, while walking home from the store with his dad, Denver Police said the three-year-old was hit and killed. Investigators report the driver left the scene but was later found and arrested.

DENVER, Colorado A suspect has been arrested following a fatal hit-and-run crash that killed a 3-year-old boy Thursday night in Denver, according to a tweet from the Denver Police Department (DPD).
The victim, who family identified as Lyndreth Sage Antone, was struck and killed at South Lowell Boulevard and Morrison Road about 6:30 p.m. Thursday. That s near South Federal Boulevard and West Alameda Avenue.
