Apr 24, 2021 Twin Rivers Baptist Church at Whipple will be celebrating its 25-year anniversary in May with special services and activities. Anniversary Sunday will be observed on Sunday, May 2, at the church, which is located at 110 D.A.V. Road, Whipple. Special speaker will be James Rushing, founding pastor of the church. He is currently pastor of Temple Baptist Church in Chattanooga, Tenn. Special music will be provided by his wife, Lynda Rushing, who served as choir director and was in charge of the church’s music ministries during her husband’s tenure as pastor. Music will also be provided by other members of the church as well as by the church’s choir. ....
