Remaining delegates of the 1972 Montana Constitutional Convention and their families gathered Wednesday in the House of Representatives chambers at the State Capitol to celebrate the document’s 50th anniversary.
Those remaining of the 100 delegates to the 1972 Montana Constitutional Convention will gather this week in Helena to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the document.
Even by scholars of democracy, Montana's Constitution, which celebrates 50 years in 2022, is the most expansive, protective and open document in the history of self-governing.
