Oklahoma residents were issued to evacuate their homes in the middle of a tornado warning after lightning sparked a massive fire near homes on Sunday night
“As you walk and drive around Bronzeville, Harold’s works are everywhere,” author Nathan Thompson said. “Harold was one of the freedom fighters,” Rev. Jesse Jackson said.
Bronzeville lost another icon this month. Harold L. Lucas, Jr., a multi-hyphenate who has been advocating on behalf of the historical community for the entirety of his life died Aug. 9. The community said he will be missed.
