Aboard Sissy Max-Theurer s Quantaz she won the Grand Prix for Special at the 2021 CDI-W Salzburg in Austria. Corona Postponement The 2021 CDI-W Salzburg kicked off the competition calendar year after corona turned 2020 upside down. Salzburg takes place on 21 - 24 January and is a postponement of its original December date. Despite empty seats for a corona proof environment riders are thrilled to get back to action. The opening dressage class was the Grand Prix for Special, judged by Salzgburg return judges Raphael Saleh, Thomas Lang, and Katrina Wust, and assisted by Claudia Thaler and Gabriela Valerianova. ....
European Children Medalist Happy Feet Moves on to Next Rider, Robin Dicker Thu, 12/31/2020 - 12:20 The Netherlands Former European Children Champion and serial children medalist Happy Feet has moved on to his sixth rider in four years time. With three riders he has competed at four European Children Championships, so far. Happy Feet is a rising 14-year old Dutch warmblood by Tuschinski out of Ereara (by Animo). Biggest Success with Buijs Happy Feet s biggest successes, so far, were achieved with his first Children s rider, Sanne Buys. Buys and Happy Feet made their international show debut at Children s level at the 2017 CDI Diepenbeek in July 2017. At the 2017 European Children s Championships in Roosendaal, they won team and individual gold. ....
FEI appoints new Jumping Director 12/22/20 Marco Fuste (ESP), one of the best known figures on the international Jumping circuit, has been appointed as Jumping Director for the Federation Equestre Internationale (FEI), the global governing body for equestrian sports. Mr Fuste has been Director of Jumping at the Spanish Equestrian Federation and chef d’equipe of the Spanish Jumping team since 2006. He will take up the new role at the FEI on 1 February 2021 and his first task will be a full revision of the FEI Jumping Rules. He replaces interim Jumping Director Deborah Riplinger, who will remain at FEI Headquarters until the end of June next year to ensure an optimal handover. ....
