CALDWELL COUNTY Two people were injured in an accident just after 2a.m. Wednesday in Caldwell County.The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 2017 Freightliner semi driven by Luis J. Garcia, 47, Miami, Florida, was westbound on U.S. 36 two miles east of Hamilton.The semi traveled off the south side of the road into the median, overturned onto its passenger side, slid on the eastbound lanes and came to rest blocking both eastbound lanes of traffic.Caldwell County ambulance transported Garcia and a passenger Maida Calzada, 53, Miami, Florida, to Cameron Regional Medical Center. Both were properly restrained, according to the MSHP.
