A historic Ludlow building abandoned since the 1970s will regain life over the next six years as the Ludlow Heritage Museum seeks to restore the former railyard storehouse.
The museum has a deal with Norfolk Southern to preserve the building that remains of Ludlow, Ky.'s rail line history. "It is the last remaining building from the days of the Cincinnati, New Orleans and Texas Pacific Railroad between Cincinnati and Chattanooga, Tennessee, so we were anxious to preserve that piece of property," says Mark Mitchell, museum president.
