It’s been a huge part of my life for the last 11 years and I would like to thank the BBC for giving me the opportunity to program all the music, and together with you guys build a wonderful feel good radio show just right for a Saturday morning. On Saturday, Alex Dyke, announced on social media that he would no longer be hosting his Saturday morning show on BBC Radio Solent. Up until now listeners tuned in to listen to music from the Beatles, the Hollies, the Monkees, Sweet, Slade, T.Rex and many others, but now the slot is set to be filled with a segment named “Clued Up”, presented by Lucy Ambache. The presenter says he is moving to night time radio on Saturday’s and Sunday’s with the new Saturday morning programme set to begin on May 22. ....
