Allen ISD reports 216 new cases in just over a month, 416 cases total

Allen ISD has seen an increase in positive COVID-19 cases, reporting nearly 52% of the total cases since the first day of school which began Aug. 12 in the past 34 days.
Since Nov. 11, the district has reported 216 new cases. The running total, as of Tuesday morning, is 416 cases: 31 staff members and 285 students.
The district’s COVID-19 dashboard shows there are currently 62 positive cases from 47 students and 15 staff members, with Allen High School reporting the most at 15 active cases, followed by Curtis Middle School at nine, Boon Elementary and Lowery Freshman Center at seven each and Boyd Elementary at five. Nine campuses report one to four active cases. District offices report four active cases.
