there is so much on the line. it is difficult to think any jury is in the decision of whether someone lives or dies. the judge imposed a full sentence for the charges he faced in the march 2010 killing at the gas station. the judge gave bishop another life sentence for the conspiracy to commit murder. all of the sentences to run consecutively. our understanding is it would make him eligible for parole in about 50 years. it has been obviously very difficult. that is all i have. we appreciate all the support i have gotten. bishops admitted shooting william ray porter three times in the head. he declared a quick victim s wife supplied the handgun and promise to pay him $9,000. bishop told detectives he believed carla was being abused. the defense tried to show he was manipulated. it is clear that some jurors believe it. believed it. the judge says this is a crime that could have been avoided. the videotaped confession made him eligible for the death penalty. ....
