The program went into effect Monday Share Updated: 5:45 PM CDT Jul 19, 2021 The City of Jackson s Water Billing Assistance Program kicked off Monday. The new program includes the Low Income Assistance Plan and the Courtesy Payment Arrangement Plan. The low income assistance plan is for customers who are in the Mississippi Home Corp Emergency Rental Assistance Program. The Courtesy Arrangement Plan is for customers who do not qualify as low income. Full program details:1. Low-Income Assistance Plan (LIAP) – Available for any water/sewage arrearage for 24 monthsMust show proof of participation in the MS Home Corp Emergency Rental Assistance (ERA) programMust pay current bill for three monthsMust apply for any federal or state utility aid programsMus
