Updates to COVID-19 Directions for 18 February 2021, South Australia
Updates have been made to the Cross Border Travel Direction in relation to the ongoing situation in Victoria.
Cross Border Travel Direction No 39
The Cross Border No 39 Direction comes into effect at 12.01am on Thursday 18 February 2021.
The changes are as follow:
Entry from Victoria (other than Greater Melbourne)
People are permitted to travel from Victoria including regional (other than Greater Melbourne and the Shire of Mitchell) to South Australia providing they have not been in Greater Melbourne and the Shire of Mitchell within the past 14 days.
These people do not have any testing or quarantine requirements (unless they are an Essential Traveller or have been advised differently by SA Health)

Updates to COVID-19 Directions for 15 February 2021, South Australia
Updates have been made to the Cross Border Travel and Quarantine and Testing of Certain Former Victorian Arrivals.
Cross Border Travel Direction No 38 and Quarantine and Testing of Certain Former Victorian Arrivals No 4. The Cross Border No 38 Direction came into effect at 8.35 pm on 15 February 2021 and Quarantine and Testing of Certain Former Victorian Arrivals No 4 came into effect at 8.33 pm 15 February 2021.
The changes are as follow:
Entry from Victoria
Between 28 January 2021 and 6 February 2021
Any person who transitions from a Low Community Transmission Zone through Greater Melbourne to depart from the Melbourne Airport, having been in the airport for 2 hours or less, are permitted to enter without restrictions providing they have been in a Low Community Transmission Zone for the previous 14 days

Cross Border Travel Direction No 34 and Quarantine and Testing of Certain Former Victorian Arrivals Direction
The Cross Border No 34 Direction came into effect at 1816hrs on Thursday 4 February 2021. The public should be aware that a new Direction has been created under the Emergency Management Act 2004 by the State Coordinator, Grant Stevens. This Direction is the Emergency Management (Quarantine and Testing of Certain Former Victorian Arrivals) (COVID-19) which came into effect at 1820hrs on Thursday 4 February 2021.

COVID-19 Directions have been updated in South Australia in relation to the situation in Western Australia.
Updates have been made to the Cross Border Travel and Residential Aged Care Directions. These updates provide restrictions for people travelling from Western Australia.
Cross Border Travel Direction No 33 & Modification Quarantine of Former Western Australian Arrivals
The Cross Border No 33 Direction came into effect at 2pm on Tuesday 2 February 2021. The Modification Quarantine of Former Western Australian Arrivals Direction came into effect at 2.03pm on Tuesday 2 February 2021.
The changes are as follow:
Entry from Western Australia
The whole of Western Australia is no longer a Prohibited Location. However, the current lockdown areas of Perth, Peel and South West Regions in Western Australia are still classified as a Prohibited Zone.

Updates have been made to the Cross Border Travel and Residential Aged Care Directions. These updates provide the easing of restrictions for people travelling from New South Wales.
Cross Border Travel Direction No 31
The Cross Border No 31 Direction comes into effect as of 12.01am on Sunday 31 January 2021.
The changes are as follow:
Entry from New South Wales
People travelling from New South Wales (other than a Restricted Location) into South Australia from 12.01am Sunday 31 January are no longer required to receive COVID-19 testing.
Restricted Locations of the Greater Sydney Region, Central Coast Council local government area and Wollongong City Council local government areas have been added to the Direction. Any person travelling from any of these Restricted Locations must receive a COVID-19 test within 24 hours from arrival in South Australia and self-quarantine until they receive a negative test resul
