Itâs been nearly a year since everyoneâs Celtic side was put in knots by the pandemic.
With shutdowns and panic, many St. Patrickâs Day celebrations in 2020 were either canceled or significantly subdued.
But this year will be better! Take, for example, this recent Facebook post:
âWeâre so LUCKY!! The Goat and Clover Tavern will be OPEN this year for St. Pattyâs Day! We missed you last year! Looking forward to seeing you my friend!â
The bagpipes will sound, the dancers will kick up their clogs and Irish beers will pour in the Grand Valley.
Here is a look at some of what is planned in celebration of St. Patrickâs Day.
Yes, I understand how frustrating it was for you this past week.
We had you trained on a daily basis to look for the COVID-19 numbers, published at the top of page one, on the right-hand side, and then suddenly poof! They werenât there anymore.
Where are the numbers? Many of you called asking, after flipping through the newspaper several times, searching but not finding.
When Mesa County Health Department stopped sending its daily report at the end of February, The Daily Sentinel followed suit and stopped publishing daily updates.
No, that doesnât mean COVID has âstopped.â Not by any means.
