Cantrell appoints 2 Convention Center board commissioners
Mayor LaToya Cantrell has appointed attorney Geri Broussard Baloney and Ralph Mahana, general manager of the Windsor Court Hotel, to the Ernest N. Morial New Orleans Exhibition Hall Authority, the governing board of the New Orleans Ernest N. Morial Convention Center.

Baloney, founder of the Broussard Baloney Law Firm, APC, serves as special assistant to Attorney General Jeff Landry, representing state universities, hospitals and other agencies. Baloney also owns Baloney Funeral Home, LLC and La Belle Place Reception and Conference Center in LaPlace. She is a graduate of Southern University of New Orleans and Loyola University School of Law.
