Up to $3M for Fire Station addition approved in Bernardston election
Last year, Frank “Bud” Foster, who has since died, donated to Bernardston his property at 12 Church St., in the foreground, which is adjacent to the present Fire Station, to use for a Fire Station addition. Now that the project has been approved by Bernardston voters, the four-bay garage will be built on this lot separate from the existing station, though it will be attached by an enclosed walkway.
