Senior Master Sgt. Lou Lusk is seeking a six-year term on the Blair Township Board of Supervisors.
Lusk is a 29-year military veteran who was on the first successful POW rescue mission since Vietnam that rescued Jessica Lynch from Iraq. Serving in the Air Force Special Ops for 18 years, he served on seven combat tours and survived three IED attacks.
Lusk worked in the state prison system for 24 years, the last 10 years as a shift lieutenant.
“I have fought for the country I love, and now I wish to serve the citizens of our township and continue to protect our way of life and the values we hold dear,” Lusk said. “My goal is to keep taxes low in the township, protect our private property rights, and do our part to protect our Second Amendment rights.”
