That with us this morning. they refer to any administration member over and over again. the ira, the ira. did it reduce inflation yet? easy answer, no. but it was never really about reducing inflation, at least in the short-term. it was always a medium to longer-term play. did it contribute to inflation over the past year? no, it didn t. but it doesn t mean it wasn t potent. that s going to be part of the message, at least from janet yellen today. it was about boosting growth and try ining to shift away from fol fuels and investment to other energies. janet yellen is going to say it s contributed to $500 billion worth of manufacturing and clean ergy investment. that s potent. and as you both know, when you travel around the world and speak to other policymakers, it s been a political earthquake elsewhere in the world because they think it s going to mean that america tries a lot of investment from other places. so let s not downgrade it, but as far as inflation is
