FLOYD, Va. and INDEPENDENCE, Va., Feb. 17, 2021 /PRNewswire/ Parkway Acquisition Corp. ( Parkway or the Company ) (OTC QX: PKKW) – the holding company for Skyline National Bank ( Skyline or the Bank ) – announced fourth quarter 2020 earnings.
Net income for the three months ended December 31, 2020 was $1.7 million or $0.28 per share, compared with $1.7 million or $0.28 per share for the three months ended December 31, 2019. Net income for the year ended December 31, 2020 was $5.9 million or $0.97 per share, compared with $7.2 million or $1.16 per share for the year ended December 31, 2019. Fourth quarter earnings represented an annualized return on average assets ( ROAA ) of 0.79% and an annualized return on average equity ( ROAE ) of 7.92% for the quarter ended December 31, 2020, compared to 0.98% and 8.47%, respectively, for the quarter ended December 31, 2019. FLOYD, Va., Feb. 17, 2021 /PRNewswire/ Parkway Acquisition Corp. ( Parkway or the Company ) (OTC QX: PKKW) – the holding company for Skyline National Bank ( Skyline ), announces a cash dividend on the Company s common stock of $0.13 per share, payable March 22, 2021 to shareholders of record on March 12, 2021. The Parkway Board of Directors declared the dividend on February 16, 2021.
Skyline is the wholly-owned subsidiary of Parkway and serves southwestern Virginia and northwestern North Carolina with 24 branches and 2 loan production offices.
