WINNIPEG The co-worker of a man found not criminally responsible for stabbing her more than a dozen times is suing Manitoba health authorities, alleging staff at a crisis centre failed to protect her from the violence.
A nursing supervisor who was stabbed at Winnipeg's Seven Oaks General Hospital in 2021 by a man later found not criminally responsible for a string of attacksĀ has, along with another hospital employee, filed additional lawsuits against Manitoba health bodies exactly two years later, alleging authorities failed to protect them.
