When the COVID-19 pandemic struck just over a year ago, jobs were lost, and already-busy parents were suddenly tasked with overseeing their kidsâ educations, some having to quit their jobs or at least put work aside. Even the pristine, and wealthy, Jackson Hole felt the pain of one of the pandemicâs many byproducts: food insecurity. Organizations of all types stepped up their efforts to help those in need, including local churches eager to find a way to keep their neighborsâ stomachs sated. Two such Jackson churches, Our Lady of the Mountains Catholic Church and Presbyterian Church of Jackson Hole, had to get creative to continue serving meals to the community. And with the help of teams of committed volunteers, they have thus far succeeded. ....

Proctor, Alpha Beta ESA From left, Alpha Beta members Florence Cerantonio and Rebecca Burchard assisted the Tony O Rear Bowl for Life event staff with team registrations The Alpha Beta chapter of Epsilon Sigma Alpha enjoyed an engaging year in spite of limitations imposed by COVID-19. Just prior to the pandemic, Alpha Beta President Angela VanAllman and chapter members made plans for another exciting and fulfilling year that included supporting philanthropic efforts, ways and means projects, educational programs, socials, and more. The Tony O’Rear Bowl for Life Tournament to benefit St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital marked its 20th anniversary in February 2020. Tony, the son of former Alpha Beta member Barbara Breedwell, lost his fight against cancer at age 12. Chapter members support this annual event by soliciting door prizes, registering teams, ....
