Semi-Truck Driver Chokes On Fruit & Crashes on I-96 A semi-truck driver made it out luckily, and probably thankfully, after choking on some fruit he was eating, which then caused him to crash his rig on West Bound I-96 near M-100. The accident happened just before 7 a.m. on Friday, April 30th. Lansing Post troopers on scene at I-96 W/B near M-100 for a semi truck crash that occurred at 6:57 am.
