Longtrok Senden Ungma observes 37th 'Sobaliba Sayu'

Our Correspondent Mokokchung, Aug.2 (EMN): The Longtrok Senden of Ungma, in collaboration with North East Zone Cultural Centre (NEZCC), Dimapur, held its 37th edition of “Sobaliba Sayu,” (roughly translated cultural display) competition at the Babu Tzübo Amphitheater in Ungma village on August 1. Minister of PWD Housing and Mechanical, Tongpang Ozükum, the chief guest of the event in his address, lauded the Longtrok Senden for their notable efforts to promote the cultural heritage of the community and preserving the sacred traditions and customs of their forefathers. On the various meetings and resolutions passed by the Parliamentary Committee on Naga political issue, Ozükum stated the July 16 resolution was one of the best resolutions passed by the committee as facilitators.
