In the eight years leading up to Usman Khan s attack on Fishmongers’ Hall, MI5, the probation service and counter-terrorism police were aware of more than 40 warning signs that the convicted terrorist craved “martyrdom” in a suicidal jihadi outrage.

The Fishmongers Hall terrorist said a prison rehabilitation project had helped him find the right path only an hour before his attack, an inquest has heard.
Convicted terrorist Usman Khan killed two Cambridge University graduates, Jack Merritt and Saskia Jones, at an event celebrating the five-year anniversary of rehabilitation charity Learning Together in November 2019.
Khan, who was released from prison on license a year earlier, was armed with two knives as he stabbed conference attendees before being shot dead by armed police on London Bridge.
