The Trixie Minx Easter Bunny is Coming to Town Very Soon

Get a jump on Easter weekend with a lot of tail at Minx Burlesque “Virtual” Easter Show. Much more than the traditional bump and grind, Trixie Minx Productions will present a variety acts ranging from strip-teasing singers to drag duets and even a burlesque bunny to get you in the holiday spirit. As always, Minx Burlesque features an all New Orleans cast of burlesque and variety artists. Trixie Minx Production states: “This show is also significant in that we partner with d.b.a. to help raise funds not just for our performers but for this independent venue as well; working together to help us all get through the pandemic so we can go back to doing live shows again soon.” ....

The NOLA Project typically does a play reading of a holiday show, usually an irreverent one. The theater company closes out its year and Podplay series with âAn Rated R Christmas Carol.â It includes the familiar characters from Charles Dickensâ classic story, but itâs got more of a Mel Brooks comedy take thatâs R-rated, not X, says author and company artistic director A.J. Allegra. The show is a radio play currently available as a podcast on nolaproject.com.
