LUDHIANA: As a goodwill gesture and under the winter warmth scheme started by Director General of Police Punjab Dinkar Gupta, more than 11,000 blankets and Lohri hampers containing eatables and other goodies were distributed amongst the downtrodden sections of the society by the Ludhiana police in the city.
