Mexico city nearly landed on an occupied runway here at sfo. This is just the latest in a string of mishaps or near accidents in recent months. Aero mexico flight 668 was given clearance to land on runway 28r at sfo yesterday before noon. But for unknown reasons the pilot headed towards the wrong runway. The one located right next to it.
