News. Police have arrested and charged a man with the hit and run in overbrook. Paul woodland faces homicide by vehicle in the death of 8yearold Gianna Powell. She was struck and killed on november 18th. Vernon odom is in overbrook with the details. Reporter rick and sara good afternoon. Woodland formerly charged by police overnight. Sad, just sad that is how one of the neighbors described the tragedy that left the 8yearold child dead. This is their man, Paul Woodland from overbrook. Charged with the hit and run crash that hit and killed Gianna Powell whose home is not far away. She was killed while crossing the street with two siblings, the driver did not stop and the siblings were not seriously injured.
