Llyn Llech Owain Picture: Chris Onn Improvement works will soon be underway at Llyn Llech Owain Country Park thanks to a £130,000 grant. The works include upgrading the landscaped area around the entrance way, revamping the early years children’s playground and the visitor and education centres. Carmarthenshire County Council’s economic development team secured the funding through the Welsh Government’s Valleys Regional Park (VRP) scheme after the park was awarded VRP Discovery Gateway status – one of only 11 sites across Wales to achieve this.
