Critics argue that the timing of Cheney s announcement, which came one day before the impeachment vote, placed members in a bind and didn’t reflect the overarching views of the conference.

Wyoming GOP shares 'outcry' it has received about Cheney's impeachment vote


“There has not been a time during our tenure when we have seen this type of an outcry from our fellow Republicans, with the anger and frustration being palpable in the comments we have received.
