Mac-n-Cheese Bowl returns March 27! (In pickup format.)
The timesunion.com/Table Hopping Mac-n-Cheese Bowl, a fundraiser that has brought in more than $400,000 for the Regional Food Bank of Northeastern New York since first being held in 2010, will return later this month with a pickup format.
What would have been the 11th annual Mac-n-Cheese Bowl was canceled a few days before it was to have been held, on March 14 last year, when the hosting organization, Siena College in Loudonville, decided against making its MAC Center available as part of the response to growing concerns about the spread of the coronavirus. On March 16, Gov. Andrew M. Cuomo ordered all New York restaurants to close their dining rooms and bars, and allowed only takeout service until outdoor and then indoor dining reopened upstate in June.
